Is engaging employees in recycling a constant struggle? Or educating staff to recycle their waste correctly? If so, check out NatWest’s solution to the problem:
The solution was simple yet effective – a perspex box above each waste stream containing samples of the waste that can be recycled in that waste stream, in their bespoke recycling station. This enables staff to tell at a glance what waste goes where, massively reducing the issue of contaminated waste streams, and making recycling easy.
I just want to share some positive feedback with regards to our waste behaviours on site since we collaborated. Reviewing datasets since staff have returned to the office and our introduction of Unisort Waste Stations across all floors, our general waste has reduced by 52% which is a remarkable achievement! The ease of separation is certainly helping staff navigate the disposal of waste without contamination
When I reflect on our Journey from 2019 to where we are now, the full suite of products we have to achieve our zero waste to landfill ambitions has been supported by Unisort offering proven concepts and adapting them for the needs of NatWest Group.
